Freemasonry and Jehovah's Witnesses
by Hammer_Of_Thor ini've read alot of posts here regarding jw's and freemasonry, and so far i've seen the usual conjecture by non-masons, and a few well written opinions of the inquiring minds among us.. i'm a former jw from texas, and a current freemason in houston.
my question is:.
what specifically does the wts say as far as masonic membership.

How I obtained my personal files from Bethel
by jwfacts init has taken me a long time, but i have finally put together an article outlining how i used the law to force bethel to send me my personal files.
it is a very long article full of scans, so i have linked to it at http://jwfacts.com/watchtower/experiences/personal-files-privacy-act-1988.php.
in brief, in 2006 i requested that bethel send me my files on the basis that the australian privacy act 1988 entitles people to receive a copy of any information a corporation holds about them.

Are Parents Who Shun Their Children At Risk?

are these df'd children (actually, some of these df'd children are in their 60's) meant to ignore being ignored and then care physically for their non speaking parents?
also, can df'ing your own children lead to witness parents suffering illness or even death as a result?.

by Skimmer inif you are a jw, you may he hesitant about leaving because you think they will gossip about you after you're gone.
do not worry, they are gossiping about you already.
so, have some fun and give them some extra material to help them with their "more spiritual than thou" addiction.

Another self introducton

i am a newcomer to this board, and as i have enjoyed reading the self-introductions of others, i'd thought i'd post one of my own.. in 1966 i was a nine year old boy and my parents where going through a messy divorce.
i wound up spending some time with an aunt and uncle who had been jws for all of their adult lives, and they gave me a copy of the wtbts book _from paradise lost to paradise regained_.
